Our Story

A Small Paradise

Venture Out , a quiet little secret located just 19 miles from Key West, is a water-lover's dream. This 69 acre condominium association was created to put the ocean at your back door. Our amenities are abundant: a heated pool and kiddie pool overlooking the Atlantic, a saltwater swim lagoon, a full-service marina, two boat ramps, a ship store, and a tiki hut right on the water. We sit on Kemp Channel, one of the most accessible boating channels in the Keys. The open Atlantic and its coral reefs are a ten-minute run out. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is close by for snorkeling and diving, and on the gulf side, the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge makes Cudjoe Key a paradise for kayakers and small-boat explorers.

Life on the Property

There are many activities such as tennis, basketball, bocce ball, pickle ball, playground and recreation hall with free wifi, lending library, billiards, darts, ping pong and games. There are numerous scheduled events and activities that take place from November to April. Our world famous pancake breakfast is every Saturday (Nov.-April) from 8-9 and serves up the best pancakes, sausage, coffee and OJ at a great price. The clubs and organizations hold special events and activities you will certainly want to be a part of. Church service is held on Sunday's. Our pavilion is a gathering center for a host of activities, from pot luck dinners, boat and tennis club gatherings, musical performances, entertainment, plays and movies are some of the many fun things you can do while visiting our lovely resort. Be sure to ask for a calendar of events or ask for the VO Buzz when you register at the office, because it is so much to remember!

Res. Condominium Assoc.

Venture Out is a residential condominium association with both RV site and unit rentals available on a weekly and short-term basis. Most rental units are waterfront with boat dockage available.

Amenities & Location

Amenities include a marina with store, boat ramps, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, and much more, in a gated 24-hour secured park. Cudjoe Key is close to both Key West and Marathon in the section of the Florida Keys known as the Lower Keys.

And Easy Access

This provides easy access to events such as the offshore powerboat races, sailing regattas, fishing tournaments, Fantasy Fest, Star Party, and many more. The Lower Keys include well-known destinations such as Big Pine Key, Bahia Honda, and the National Key Deer Refuge.

Seasonal Events & Community

From November to April, the property comes alive with scheduled activities, club gatherings, pot luck dinners, musical performances, and the world-famous Saturday pancake breakfast. Ask for the VO Buzz at the office to keep up with everything going on.
